Our location on the Jersey Shore positions us for local trips to all the summertime haunts, from Asbury Park to Seaside Heights. We're also well-positioned for longer trips to New York City, Philadelphia or Atlantic City.

LOCAL:
Monmouth County, located in Central New Jersey, is home base for Atlantic Taxi. The county contains 52 separate municipalities, some of them just, frankly, ridiculously small, making in-town and out-of-town pricing for local runs particularly troublesome. We generally adhere to a $3 per passenger in-town charge, with a $1 per town additional fee per person. Discounts apply to larger groups, of course. Check with other companies in town. We're nearly always a buck or two cheaper.

These are not hard-and-fast rules, however. Other charges may apply.

For instance, drivers reserve the right to add an undetermined Poor Grammar Fee, should you or someone in your group flagrantly and unapologetically butcher the English language. It hurts our ears.

Conversely, if you or your group is particularly funny, that may offset some of your fare. Amusing us has its rewards.

LONG DISTANCE:
Because of tight scheduling, long, out of town trips are generally best arranged in advance. It's frankly cheaper for you that way, too. Again, prices vary depending on the length of the trip, time of day or week and number of passengers. Call us, though, we can generally work out something cheaper than other companies. We're reasonable people here.

SPECIAL EVENTS/LARGE GROUPS:
We can also provide transportation for Weddings/Receptions, Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, Sporting events/tailgates or any other event you can think of. We can accommodate whatever size group you have, if given a little notice. Plan ahead and stop worrying about how your guests are going to get there. We've got it covered.
